How to Rent

  1. Step1Reservation

    Please select your desired rental date, time, and rental period using the reservation form.
    You will be required to enter your driver’s license number, so please have your license ready when making a reservation.
    Reservations can be submitted 24 hours a day through the online form. Our responses are handled on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
    For any other questions regarding rentals, please contact us via the inquiry form.

  2. Step2Vehicle Pick-up

    Before departure, administrative procedures, vehicle instructions, and a pre-rental damage inspection will be conducted.
    Please allow sufficient time and arrive with ample time to complete these procedures.
    Payment must be made using a credit card in the name of the person renting the motorcycle.
    Please be sure to bring your helmet, gloves, and valid driver’s license.
    Kindly arrive dressed appropriately for riding. (Shorts and sandals are not permitted.)

  3. Step3

    In the event of an accident, including a single-vehicle accident, please contact the numbers listed below immediately.
    First, ensure your own safety and the safety of others involved.
    After securing safety, please report the incident to the police, confirm the details of the other party involved, and contact both Eisyu Rental and the accident support center by phone.
    Please follow the instructions provided in the automobile insurance driver’s card (kept with the vehicle and handed to you at departure), under the section “In Case of an Accident.”

  4. Step4Vehicle Return

    Fuel: Please return the motorcycle with a full tank. If not refueled, fuel charges will be calculated based on the distance traveled and charged accordingly.

    Damage: The vehicle will be inspected upon return. Any new damage, including scratches or tip-over damage requiring parts replacement, will result in additional charges.

    Parking Violations: If a parking violation occurs, please present the Traffic Violation Notice and the official stamped payment receipt.
    If not presented at return, a ¥15,000 deposit will be collected. The full amount will be refunded after confirmation of fine payment and receipt submission.

Optional Insurance and Other Policies

Insurance Included in the Basic Rental Fee

The basic rental fee includes both Compulsory Automobile Liability Insurance (CALI), which is legally required for all vehicles in Japan, and optional insurance coverage.

Cases Where Insurance Does Not Apply

Please note that insurance coverage will not apply in the following circumstances, and all damages will be the full responsibility of the customer:

  • 1.Violation of the Rental Terms and Conditions
    Including, but not limited to:
    • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
    • Serious traffic violations
    • Unauthorized extension of the rental period
    • Operation by anyone other than the registered renter
    • Subleasing or lending the vehicle to a third party
  • 2.Failure to Follow Required Procedures
    Regardless of the extent of damage or whether another party is involved, you must report the incident to both the police and the departure store.
    Failure to complete the required reporting procedures may result in insurance being denied.
  • 3.Negligence in Use or Management
    • Theft resulting from leaving the key in the vehicle
    • Damage caused intentionally
    • Damage resulting from improper handling or lack of due care
  • 4.No Official Police Report or Policy Exclusions
    If no official accident report is issued by the police, or if the case falls under the exclusions specified in the insurance policy, coverage will not apply. For further details, please refer to the Rental Terms and Conditions.

Other Important Information

  • The vehicle is not covered by theft insurance. In the event of theft during the rental period, all related costs shall be borne by the customer.
  • Any damage to the vehicle caused by a fall, accident, or other incidents during the rental period shall be the responsibility of the customer.
  • Repair or replacement costs resulting from tire punctures or blowouts shall also be borne by the customer.

In the Event of an Accident

If you are involved in an accident, please first ensure the safety of yourself and any other parties involved.
Please refer to the “What to Do in Case of an Accident” section on the Automobile Insurance Driver Card provided at the time of departure (kept with the vehicle) and follow the instructions accordingly.

Non-Operation Charge (NOC)

The Non-Operation Charge (NOC) is a compensation fee for business interruption incurred by the rental company.
In the event of an accident—whether caused by the customer, by another party, or in the case of a hit-and-run—the NOC will be charged if the vehicle becomes inoperable or requires repair time, even if the customer is not at fault.

If the vehicle is returned by tow truck or roadside assistance: ¥50,000 + parts and labor costs
In case of theft: ¥50,000 + current market value of the vehicle
If the key is lost: ¥20,000 + parts and labor costs
If the registration certificate or compulsory insurance certificate is lost: ¥20,000

Please have your driver’s license ready, as you will be required to enter your driver’s license number in the reservation form.

  • ※We do not rent vehicles to customers under 18 years of age.
  • ※Customers under 20 years of age must provide a parental/guardian consent form on the day of rental. A parent or legal guardian must accompany them to the store and present valid identification.
